Notes:
1. 3303 has a lot of pink in the flower but little yellow. 2406 has a lot of pink and some yellow on all five petals.
2. SM30 is a Smith-Mossman find with a lot of yellow on each of the five petals. The goal here is to obtain more yellow with some pink in the flower.
3. 502like and SM502 are the best two picotees found in the wild. They are from Stagecoach Hill. Picotees are purple-brown. Sports on picotee plants
have picotees that are wider and darker in the flower than the rest of the plant. 502like (dark) is a sport of the original 502like. Sports of
sports have been seen and their picotees are even wider and darker.
4. (SM30 X 2406)05-1 is a selection of the first generation cross. It has the most pink and yellow in the flower of my first cross.
5. SM189 X SM232)15is a selection from a Dick Cavender cross. SM189 is one of the largest flowers found; it was growing in a pasture.
SM232 ('Leonard Frisbie') was from Stagecoach Hill and is regarded as one of the prettiest selections, with lots of color and frills. Dick grew on
quite a few plants from this cross and this is probably the best for most people.
6. (SM30 X 2406)06-1 is another selection of the cross. The goal of this cross is more yellow and pink in the flower.

22 flowers per truss. Flare fades to light yellow with age.
