the auctioned pronum seed was collected by Jens Nielsen.  JN 783, 
alt. 3900m.

some additional info supplied to the ars seed exchange by Jens:
"The seed was collected at a pass, right up on the ridge of the 
Mekong-Salwin divide.  Rock referred to this area as the Fuchuan 
range, he last collected R. pronum there in 1932 and as far as I 
know, nobody from the west has seen it in the wild until now.
It mainly seems to grow on almost inaccessable north or east facing 
cliffs.
