Nye introduktioner fra områder der er uudforsket eller kun lidt udforsket.
Indsamlet af Bent Ernebjerg på to ekspeditioner til Burmesisk Himalaya.
Efter en række rhododendron - ekspeditioner til Kina har jeg været på to efterårsekspeditioner
til det nordvestlige Burma. Første ekspedition i 2009 gik til Burmas vest grænse til Arunachal
Pradesh (Indien), den anden ekspedition i 2012 gik mod Burmas nordgrænse til Arunachal Pradesh.
Disse områder i det nordvestlige Burma er ikke blevet udforsket af de klassiske plantejægere,
og i moderne tid er der kun foretaget meget lidt udforskning dels på grund af de politiske
forhold i Burma, dels fordi disse områder er meget vanskeligt tilgængelige.
De to områder er meget forskellige. Det vestlige er relativt tørt, hvorimod det nordlige
område er ekstremt vådt. Begge ekspeditioner nåede op i 3.700 meters højde
Læsning af frølisten
Frølisterne indeholder følgende data: Frønummer, Artsnavn, Indsamlingshøjde, Billede af
moderplanten samt evt. Ekstra informationer f.eks. Flere billeder eller andre bud
hvilken art der kan være tale om.
Billedet af moderplanten vises, når man placerer musemarkøren på frinummeret, ekstra
information fremkommer ved klik på ”Artsnavnet”.
Priserne for frøene er 40 kr.*. for 2012 frø, og 20 kr.* for 2009 frø pr pakke.
En frøpakke vil indeholde ca.25-40 frø.
Minimum ordre er 5 pakker. Overvej gerne 2. prioritets frø for det tilfælde, at
1. prioritets frø er udsolgte.
Forsendelse vil blive faktureret til kostpris. Betalingen forfalder når frø og
faktura er modtaget.
* Danske kroner i Danmark, Norske kroner i Norge og Svenske kroner i Sverige.

Rhododendron seeds from northwest Burma
. New introductions from areas which are
unexplored or only little explored. Collected by Bent Ernebjerg on two exspeditions to Burmese Himalaya.
After a series of expeditions to China I have been on two autumn expeditions to northwest Burma.
In October 2009 I went to the Burmese western border to Arunachal Pradesh (India). In October 2012
I went against the northern Burmese border to Arunachal Pradesh. These areas of northern Burma
have not been explored by the old plant hunters, and in modern time only little exploration has
been done. This is partly because of the political situation in Burma, partly because these areas
are difficult to get to. The two areas explored are quite different. The western area is
relatively dry and the northern area is extremely wet. Maximum altitude for both expeditions
was 3.700 meters.
How to read the seedlists
The seed lists have the following data: Seed number, Species name, Photo of mother plant,
Collection altitude and Extra information (e.g more photos, alternative bids for species
name etc). Altitude is given in meters. You get a photo of the mother plant by placing
the cursor on the seed number. You get extra information by clicking on “Species name”.
Prices are: £4 per packet for the 2012 seeds and £2 pr packet for the 2009 expedition.
Packets will contain around 25-40 seeds. Minimum order is 5 packets. Postage and packing
will be charged at cost price.

Please write seed numbers and number of packets (not necessary if you just want 1 packet)
for 2009 and 2012 seed list separately. Please put secondary wishes in a separate part of
you order. Please write name and postal address on your order and give contact phone number
and / or mail address if you want.
