Pollen germination on the surface of 0.70% agar in water for 12 hours at 20-22C.
The germination of pollen could vary between the flowers age and condition.
All results must be copied 2-3 times. Since pollen may lose its capacity to germinate
by rain, dryness, heat, age, and poorly developed flowers ...
When I collected pollen, I tried to take it from the newly opened anthers
In polyploid plant the cells could have different numbers of chromosomes (sport) mosaics
so sometimes the pollen can germinate (make pollen tubes) from some flowers.
