B0145 – Danba , The Beauty Valley

Danba County locate in the east of Ganzi-Tibetan Autonomous, connecting two well-known traveling route, the big Jiuzhaigou Valley route with the big Shangri-La route. It’s one of the most important sites in the west Sichuan province. The weather here is comfortable, it means there is no cold winter and no hot summer here. The discovery in Zhounglu archaeology show that the ancestors of Danba have lived here for more than 5000 years and have created a peculiar stone culture. Hundreds of blockhouse and amazing houses strew at random on the mountains. Besides, the landscape of Danba is also various and splendid, especially in Donggu Valley, Dangling Mountain and Moerduo Mountain. Snow capped peaks, canyons, rivers, forrest, grazing land, etc, and many glaciers, kakes, hor springs and gompaes sprinkling anywhere. Its suitable for leisure and exploration. Danba is called the Beauty Valley since the ladies here are very beautiful. They are descendant of royal Xixia dynasty and Dongnuguo dynasty. They still keeping some archaic customs including growing-up ceremony, horse racing and etc. We are like to precent some scenes in this album to give an overview to who vant to travel or study in Danba.
