Beskrivelse
R. esetulosum (Selensia). Arten ses sjælden i kultur og angribes ofte af puddermeldug. Nogle mener det er en hybrid mellem R. selense og R. vernicosum. Vokser i NV Yunnan ved 3-4000 m.

Shrub, 1.5–2 m; young shoots and petioles glabrous or with minute stalked glands. Leaves thick, 6–12 × 3–4 cm, ovate to elliptic, lower surface with a thin adpressed indumentum of scattered dendroid hairs. Flowers 8–10, in a lax truss; calyx (1–)4–10 mm; corolla white flushed rose, with or without purple flecks, funnel-campanulate, nectar pouches lacking, 30–35 mm; ovary densely stalked-glandular, style glandular, at least near the base. As there is no direct connection between the few plants in cultivation and wild-collected herbarium specimens, there is some doubt as to their status. In any case R. esetulosum may be a hybrid between R. selense and R. vernicosum. Royal Horticultural Society (1997)
