R. proteoides x aganniphum (Taliensia). Naturhybrid som findes mellem R. proteoides og R. aganniphum. Fx på Beima Shan. Kræver veldrænet jord på et kølig og lyst sted. Hjemmehørende på stejle skrænter og klipper fra 3500 til 4700 m. i Kina (SØ-Tibet, NV-Yunnan og SV-Sichuan). Man har ment at dette kryds giver R. x bathyphyllum, men det er nok R. proteoides x R. aganniphum var. schizopeplum.
