R. dichroanthum ssp. apodectum (Neriiflora) (-18 C). En lav og bred plante med en lidt løs og
åben vækst. Mellemgrønne, voksagtige og ret blanke blade, som på oversiden har nogle karakteristiske langsgående furer,
undersiden dækket af et gråhvidt filtlag (hvidligt på nye blade). Blomstring i maj-jun med løse klaser af voksagtige halvtransparente blomster, med
mere eller mindre veludviklede blomsterbægere, og i varierende nuancer af orange. Denne særprægede art hører ikke
til de nemmeste i kultur, og lider ofte af tilbagevisning af grene. Bør anbringes under beskyttede forhold på et
sted, hvor dens lidet iøjnefaldende blomstring kan iagttages på nært hold.
