R. habrotrichum (Glischra). Lille træ eller busk med kraftige kirtel-børster på stængler og bladstilke.
Blade 7-12 x 3-7.5 cm med stive hår langs randen og på bladpladen og ender ikke i en forlænget spids. Calyx rød 10-15 mm.
Blomsternes farve kan være fra creme over i det rødviolette og oftest med en blotch. Klasen kompakt med blomster op til 15 i april-maj.
Blomsten mangler tydelige honningkirtler. Er ikke hårdfør i Danmark, men kan for en kortere årrække med mildt klima overleve
på beskyttede steder. Vildtvoksende i NØ-Burma, V-Sichuan 2700 - 3350 m. Ligner R. glishrum, men har bredere og kortere 9-12 cm blade og større hvid blomst 5 cm.
